Situation: Turnaround Director, managing cost improvement programme. Responsible for indentifying and delivering multi-million pound cost improvements across all operating departments including manufacturing, agriculture and supply chain.
- Step-change reduction in processing and head-office cost structures (workforce and overheads), delivering both enhanced efficiency and greater on-going effectiveness
- Implementation of strict regime of cost control and departmental reporting
- Establishment of a programme management office based on classic PRINCE2 methodology plus a new risk-management process
